Weekly Music Camps
Rhythm Escape Room
Week 1: July 6th - 9th
Can your little musician crack the code? This high-energy, game-filled camp challenges kids to solve musical puzzles, decode rhythm clues, and complete exciting musical missions, each one more fun than the last! Along the way, they'll sharpen their listening skills, discover the magic of rhythm and piano playing, and learn what it means to work as a team. Think escape room meets music class, it's an adventure they'll be talking about all summer!
Music, Art & Science
Week 2: July 13th - 16th
What happens when music, art, and a little bit of science collide? Pure magic! In this hands-on, endlessly creative camp, kids will conduct sound experiments, make art inspired by the music they hear, and even build their very own instruments. It's the perfect blend of curiosity and creativity — and yes, there will be plenty of "wow, cool!" moments along the way!
Musical Storybook
Week 3: July 20th - 23rd
Every great story has a soundtrack, and this week, your child gets to create it! Kiddos will use music to explore characters, emotions, and storytelling, playing simple duets and group pieces that bring their favorite tales to life. This imaginative camp is wonderful for building confidence, creative expression, and the joy of making music together.
Watch out, world! There's a new composer in town! In this empowering camp, kids step into the spotlight as they write their own songs, experiment with piano and percussion, and collaborate with their new musical friends. There are no wrong notes here, just big imaginations, bold creativity, and the thrill of hearing your proud kiddos say, “I made that song!”
From epic movie scores to iconic video game themes, and those musicals we all know and love, this camp brings the music your kids already love to life! Campers will play familiar tunes and explore how music shapes stories through motifs of heroes and villains, adventure, and victory!
Strap in, time travelers! Each day we'll jump to a different era in music history, exploring the sounds, styles, and stories that defined each time period. From classical masterpieces to modern hits, this camp is a musical journey like no other!

For ages 5–8
A gentle introduction to piano, with playful lessons that spark curiosity and build confidence. We’ll explore the keyboard, learn simple songs, and start reading music, all at a comfy pace.

Rhythm Riders Group
For ages 9–12
Perfect for older beginners ready to jump in. Learn foundational piano skills, rhythm, note reading, and start playing with both hands. Students leave with real skills and a love for music.

Piano Project Group
For teens and adults
This class is a perfect starting point for teens and adults who are new to piano or returning to music after time away. No prior experience is needed, just curiosity, commitment, and a love for music.

What Students Will Learn
Our group piano classes are designed to build a strong musical foundation in a fun and engaging environment! Students will learn:

No problem! Our classes are beginner-friendly and designed to introduce students to piano basics, note reading, rhythm, and fun songs in a supportive, no-pressure environment.

We understand that life happens and things come up! While we don’t offer individual make-up lessons for missed classes, students will receive practice materials and a video tutorial so they can catch up at home before the next session.

Keeping classes small (max 10 students) ensures personalized attention, allowing each student to receive guidance on technique and note reading while staying actively engaged.
A smaller group fosters better learning retention, stronger peer connections, and increased confidence, helping students feel supported while developing their skills.
With fewer distractions and more opportunities for participation, students can progress at a steady pace while still enjoying the fun and motivation of group learning.

You're welcome to stay or drop off! We have a cozy parent lounge with free WiFi, snacks, and drinks. For little ones, we recommend sticking around—especially in the beginning. Telvet Coffee is just around the corner if you’d like to step out during class.

Yes, having a piano or keyboard at home is important for your child’s progress! If you don’t have one yet—no worries! HeartStrings School of Music offers digital piano rentals so your child can practice without a big upfront investment. Our rental pianos have fully weighted keys to mimic an acoustic piano, and they’re available for an affordable monthly fee.

Our group piano classes run in 12-week sessions, with new sessions starting throughout the year. Classes are scheduled on Friday and Saturdays. Click here to see schedule. We also offer a summer session with flexible scheduling.
Each class lasts one hour and is offered once per week.

Sometimes, yes! If there’s space in the group and it feels like a good fit, we’re happy to welcome new students. Just reach out and we’ll talk it through.
