Why start in a group?

Because music is even more magical when we make it together:

❤️ confidence grows here: group classes offer a safe, supportive space where kids can explore and express themselves through music

❤️ together is more fun: learning alongside friends makes each lesson feel like play and keeps kids excited to come back

❤️ kind to your wallet: a wonderful introduction to music, with more flexibility than private lessons

❤️ learning life skills too: from listening and sharing to cheering each other on, students pick up so much more than just piano

❤️ they’ll feel proud of what they can do: step by step, note by note, they’ll build real musical skills, and have a great time doing it

Music Makers Group Piano

For ages 5–8

Every session is a brand-new musical story. We learn piano through fairytales kids already love: Goldilocks, The Three Little Pigs, Jack and the Beanstalk, The Tortoise and the Hare and many more. Kids sing along, move, play, and bring each story to life at the piano. Each new tale revisits the skills they know and gently adds new ones, so real musical growth sneaks up on them while they're busy having fun. By the second or third class, you can watch the confidence grow!

Rhythm Riders Group Piano

For ages 9–12

Perfect for older beginners ready to jump in, with a clear path from first note to playing in an ensemble. Students move through levels together: rhythm, the keyboard, reading music on a staff, recognizing intervals, ear training, and hands playing together, all as a team (a quiet superpower for shy kids, because they're never up there alone). Through interactive games, movement, and lots of fun music, these kids can’t wait to show you what they’ve learned at piano class!

Piano Project Group

For teens and adults

This class is perfect for teens and adults who are new to piano or returning to music after time away. No prior experience is needed, just curiosity, commitment, and a love for music. Together you'll learn note reading, rhythm, technique, and songs you actually want to play, at a pace that respects busy lives. And because everyone in the room is starting out too, there's no pressure and no judgment, just steady progress, good company, and that "I finally learned piano" feeling.

Beginner Guitar Classes

For ages 8-12

A group class for brand-new guitarists. Students learn how to hold the guitar, their first chords, strumming patterns, and rhythm skills, and start playing real songs right away. We work as a team: learning parts, playing together, and building up to full songs as a group. Along the way, kids pick up chord changes, ear training, and the basics of reading music, so they're building real guitar skills, not just memorizing songs. In the group, kids interact with music through movement and multi-sensory learning. It’s a fun way to keep kiddos excited about learning and playing music every week. At the end of the session, we’ll perform together in a recital for family and friends!

Beginner Violin Classes

For ages 6-12

Our group violin class starts this fall. Kids learn together from the very first note, bow holds, rhythm, ear training, and real songs, in a small class where beginners cheer each other on. We reinforce music theory with interactive games, rhythm exercises, and group pieces where kids learn to listen to each other and keep a steady beat as a team. Along the way, they'll play fun, familiar songs with a twist, “Pepperoni Pizza Twinkle” is a class favorite! No violin at home? No problem, we'll connect you with our favorite local shop for an affordable, properly sized rental. Spots are limited, and current families get first pick.
